This plant is a wonderful hardy perennial (it comes back each year). Sedum are a favorite of butterflies and hummers. Deer tend to be uninterested in them. They grow well in containers. The blossoms of the taller varieties are great in flower bouquets, both fresh and dried. Lower growing sedum are great for groundcover. Sedum are also known as Stonecrop.
