Campanula 'Violet Teacups'
Bellflower
Campanula carpatica 'Violet Teacups'. Carpathian Bellflowers are popular for a reason-they nicely fill the front of the border without spreading, and their bold colors brighten up the garden when they are in bloom. 'Violet Teacups' stands out from other C. carpatica types with its intense violet purple flowers-darker than anything you've seen! Bell-shaped flowers cover its round, compact habit. Use in rock gardens, along pathways and patios, or in combination perennial containers. Friendly to bees and hummingbirds. PPAF. Photography courtesy: Walter's Gardens, Inc.
MATURE HEIGHT: 10-12".
MATURE SPREAD: 14-16".
HARDINESS ZONES: 3,4,5,6,7,8.
FLOWER: All season.
SUN EXPOSURE: Full sun to part sun.
SIZE SHIPPED: 2.5" pot. (plants shipped to California may be bare root and trimmed)
This plant is a wonderful hardy perennial (it comes back each year). Well-draining soil is the secret to success and fast growth. Campanula bloom early season and will rebloom all year with deadheading. Commonly known as Bellflowers they are a favorite of Hummingbirds. Deer resistant. All of our Bellflowers are of blooming age/size.
Our plants have been over-wintered here in the upper Midwest to ensure strength and hardiness and to encourage blooming the first year in your garden. Our plants are grown outdoors where Mother Nature helps us produce the best plants possible. Our potted plants can be planted at your convenience, just keep them watered until you are ready to put them into the ground. We include complete planting instructions with all orders. This plant is ready for your garden!
Our plant photos are a representation of mature specimens. The plants we sell are not full grown but they are well established and happily on their way to becoming all they can be.
