RATTLESNAKE MASTER aka Button Snakeroot. American native wildflower. This plant resembles the yucca plant but is actually from the carrot family. They get about 4ft tall and 2ft wide and have bristly white flowers. The bristly flowers and coarse leaves make it largely ignored by deer and rabbits. Once thought to prevent and cure rattlesnake bites. Being from the carrot family it is a host plant for Swallowtail Butterflies. These thrive in full sun, heat, cold, drought, poor soils, just about anywhere with full sun. Mature plants will tolerate drought but do appreciate a good watering from time to time. They're long living and can be divided after year 3. The flowers are used for cut flowers and dried flower arrangements. 100+ seeds per order.
