This plant is very desirable where a quick-growing dark background is desirable. Provides a stunning backdrop for lighter colored plants. The leaves of this Colocasia start out as plum/maroon color and with age darken to a dark purple / black.
Light: 65%-73% shade, likes high light, but will do reasonably well in 80% shade. Zones 7b - 10
